This years official book for Read for the Record campaign is Corduroy by Don Freeman. I still remember my mother reading this book to me as a child and I could never get over how cute Corduroy is with his search for his button. If you are like me, you appreciate this classic and understand its popularity. We will celebrate Corduroy’s 40th Anniversary on October 2nd.
Read for the Record is a national campaign that encourages thousands of children to read the same book on the same day. To read for the record, secure your copy of Corduroy and READ on October 2nd with us at the West Palm Beach Public Library from 9:30 am – 8:30 pm.
Please, come share in the FUN, craft & puppet acitivities!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unitl we meet again,
~Remember, Reading is Awesome
