Day of the Dead (DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS) is a celebration that took place this past weekend, November 1st-2nd, 2008.

 

Day of the Dead is mostly celebrated in Mexico.  It is the day that friends and family get together to pray for and remember relatives and friends that have passed away.  This day is also celebrated in different communities around the United States like in Texas and Arizona.  To read more about Day of the Dead, take a trip to the West Palm Beach Public Library’s KidSpace and check out:
