Ever heard of Twitter?
It’s a very interesting social networking tool (I believe I mentioned it on my blog during my Computers in Libraries conference).
Twitter essentially allows you to keep track of all your friends and family (and they can do the same with you). I believe this could be an interesting tool for parents to use with their teens! Wanna know where they are going after school? Then set up a twitter account and they’ll tweet you (other wise known as send you a message via email to your cell phone or as an IM or you can check online at the twitter site).
Anyway, this may be a fun and very tech savvy way to keep up with your teen kid’s super busy lives (and they’ll think you’re really cool if you set this up!).
They can even keep up with you!!
Enjoy.
